Home Sweet Home
When Jess first came to me with her idea for an in-home session, she and her husband Tyler had just bought their new house in Mt. Washington. I was immediately SO excited to capture their love + their beautiful + unique home. Jess and I were sorority sisters so I came over a little early to catch up and we got lunch, coffee and picked up some flowers for the session.

We headed to the Armful of Flowers shop to pick out a few bunches for Jess + Tyler's house. I may have gotten myself a dried bunch for my own place..I just couldn't resist! If you're in the area you need to stop there!
Jess has done such an amazing job decorating their house and really making it feel like a home. The living room was my favorite spot! It was so easy to just let Jess + Tyler be comfortable in their space and I just kind of sat back and snapped away and let the magic happen!
My favorite shots were of the steps! Jess had hand painted areas of the house including the green space with the mirror and it was the perfect place for these photos.
Jess + Tyler LOVE to travel. In their living room, Jess had picked out their favorite travel photos and beautifully framed them from the many places they've been all over the world. Jess and Tyler eloped in Olympic National Park in Washington in 2020. They keep a map in their kitchen with pins of all their adventures. During the shoot, we pinned their most recent trip to Alaska this past summer.
